世界中からワインが集まるアジア最大のワインコンクール2022香港IWSCで
「2021シャルドネCatwalk」が日本からは唯一の金賞とベスト日本ワイン賞をいただき、
「2020マスカットベーリーA樽熟成」と「2020シャルドネCatwalk」も銀賞をいただくことができました。

先般の日本ワインコンクールでの2019vintageの金賞受賞に続き、自分的にはちょいできすぎですがとても幸せに感じています。
ただこのベスト日本ワイン賞に選ばれた2021年のシャルドネCatwalkは
社員で深夜寒い中しんどい思いをしながらナイトハーベストをして、過去最高の葡萄を収穫することができたこと、
そしてそのあとのすべての工程で一切妥協をしなかった作品なので実は期待もしていたのが正直なところでした。
いまは皆の頑張りに報いることができてほっとしているところです。

2020ベーリーAと2020シャルドネは年内に、2021シャルドネは来夏までに発売できればなと思っております。

This is Tsuchimochi, the manager and winemaker of the winery.

Today, we are very excited to announce that, on “2022 Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit competition,” which is Asia’s biggest competition,
our [2021 Chardonnay Catwalk ]was awarded a gold prize and Best Wine From Japan 2022.
In addition, we were also able to receive silver awards for “2020 Muscat Baily A Barrel Aged” and “2020 Chardonnay Catwalk.”
Together with the gold results at the foregoing 2021 Japan wine competition,
I feel a little too much and am happy to be able to achieve this in my fourth year of winemaking.
However, I was hoping for this moment because the 2021 Chardonnay Catwalk, which was selected as the best Japanese wine, is an artwork that all employees worked hard for in the cold night to harvest the best grapes ever. And then, after harvesting, we made no compromises at all in every process.
Now I am relieved that I can finally pay off everyone’s hard work.

We hope to release 2020 Bailey A and 2020 Chardonnay before the year ends and 2021 Chardonnay by next summer.
